Just spent twenty minutes on my mom's elliptical. Man, those people who say exercise improves your mood were right. This is the second time I've spontaneously exercised in two weeks. Maybe it'll turn into a habit.

Also I remember reading somewhere that ellipticals were bad for you, because they put stress on the wrong places or something. Is there any truth to this? Because I'm fully capable of jogging/walking/biking if that's better for me.

Ellipticals do feel weird, somewhere between running and skiing.

They say it's a rough simulator of cross-country skiing, but having not tried I don't know ;3

I've just been keeping some weights next to my desk and doing a little spontaneous light lifting, push-ups, and sit-ups here and there.  Trying to get in the habit of sprinting a few minutes every night.  It's not like real athletic training or anything, but I can already see and feel a difference, when I haven't been doing this for very long or putting in much effort.

I think stream of consciousness is key.  If my brain is scanned and then destroyed, but recreated somewhere else (as in a computer simulation), it is only an imitation of me.
If you are anything like other people, your consciousness is interrupted for several hours every night, so, if it is continuity that is important, you are the latest in a long series of imitations.

It's known as the Oppai-Kaiju effect. The islands of Japan generate a sort anti-gravity field, which allows breasts to behave as if in microgravity. It's also what allows Godzilla and friends to become 50 stories tall, and lets ninjas run up the side of a skyscraper.

I have a beautiful new office that is finished physically except for hanging two pictures.

I confess I'm somewhat scared at opening it, still, but it's beautiful none the less.

It's not, really... just temporarily altered.

Not worth worrying about regardless. Enjoy your existence, temporary or not.

For, in order that men should resist injustice, something more is necessary than that they should think injustice unpleasant. They must think injustice absurd; above all, they must think it startling. They must retain the violence of a virgin astonishment. When the pessimist looks at any infamy, it is to him, after all, only a repetition of the infamy of existence. But the optimist sees injustice as something discordant and unexpected, and it stings him into action.
