Apparently I have been going on the whole week with terrible shoulder pains, and doing things to relieve the pain (taking a painkiller at first, and finding appropriate yoga exercises to see if I can fix something in the process or make my arm more flexible); Only after asking for someone to crack my back (or give me a bit of a household realignment), pain's gone in minutes. Did I somehow dislocate my shoulder, or at least mis-align it, while working or something (it felt like my back was a Jenga game)? Not too far a stretch since I was doing some heavy lifting at the time it may have started. Surprised I managed to just work through the pain that whole time without realizing it (and still get some heavy lifting done despite the minor disability (the pain was more similar to working with a sprain; enough to slow me down big time, but not stop me)). Still gonna continue those exercises to prevent that from happening again.

EDIT:
And checking out the new show Total Blackout. It's basically a game show where the contestants are completely devoid of light as they go through a few sensory screwarounds/games (with some traditional Fear Factor stuff like bugs and other gross things (like a smelly shoe that apparently smells like roses to a contestant nose-deep in it (of course, they have a wall divider so they can't touch it; an awesome screwaround was using suspension cables to lift contestants to what they think is 100 feet off the ground). What you see on TV is sorta like what was used on Planet Earth to see things in the darkest of nights (like when that elephant got mauled by the lions; so yeah, it's legitimately dark as hell in there, so even the guides have high grade equipment, and even they have to tread slowly (helps to know how those night vision goggles work; if even they have to tread lightly, those things are working overtime).). Watching the contestants is not as funny as watching the guards/guides in the background laughing at the contestants as they panic or epically fail at some wild guesses, or freak out that they might get attacked by... a pineapple or a rubber duck.

Facing the prospect of sitting outside on a cold rainy day for five hours, I went full MacGyver and broke into my house using a bit of wire and a small stick. Goddamn do I feel like a boss.

Of course, now you know that any fool on the street can break into your house with a bit of wire and a small stick :P

This is also something that I realized. I'm planning to build a pit with spikes now that I've covered the basic stuff.

Does that box art remind anyone else of witch world?
And the stargate crossover thing was totally based on andre norton anyway.

It's one of the key moments in every man's life, when you use a few minutes of ingenuity and junk you found on hand to get back into the house you just locked yourself out of.  You bring the story, I'll buy the beer.
