Code Geass is one of the best written shows I've seen in a long time, and the fact that (for once) I haven't spoiled myself by reading the TvTropes page helps massively.  I've just gotten up to the point where
Spoiler: Don't spoil yourself! (click to show/hide)
and I don't think I've had a greater "oh, shit" moment in recent memory.  It's not the event itself that made me happy but the quality of the show.

In unrelated happiness, the heart spasms and breathing problems I've been experiencing recently have begun to lessen in frequency.  Yay, I probably won't die as soon as I thought!

Looks like I might get to go play skyrim again soon. MissAniThrope is working on the Kawa-Khajiit race for Skyrim.

Gotta admit, out of all my former oblivion characters my Kawa-Khajiit was my favorite.

I also found an absolute treasure trove of sea shanty and Scottish folk song MIDIs that I can easily convert to sheet music.

I'm happy because I just got TPK'd in Legend of Grimrock.

By the skelton warrior at the two gem eyed medusa statue.

Why?

Because I decided to do an all mage run. GUESS WHAT, IT'S VIABLE. They're squishy as fuck but if each of them focuses on one magic class? BOOM, everyone is dead, dave. My fire-mage, the only spell I knew off the top of my head and thus the only one I went with (Don't know why I didn't experiment with the other three. Hormones, I guess.) and it did like 30 damage a pop.

All the level one spells are pretty simple. Just experiment a bit with one rune spells and you'll find some.

Also don't forget to dip into spellcrafting. That extra energy keeps your mages viable instead of them running out of batterys when you need it least. I'd also get the back row mages armed with spears so they can contribute poke damage when you don't need spells so they don't miss out on full kill XP.

Yeah, I'm gonna do it again some time, and experiment some more with the classes. I knew spellcraft did that but I didn't know it was worth the points.

I'm still itching to play Sniper Elite 2, I'd love to Co-Op with you, Janet! Shoot ALL the Germans!

I'm glad that I got my sister into playing Resident Evil 4. Granted, it's just too hard for her, so I let her play on my save file with the Chicago Typewriter and a bajillion health sprays and herbs saved up so she can just breeze through the game without difficulty, except it's still hard for her because she doesn't know how to aim properly or when it's the right time to heal, but I'm glad that she's having fun.

So I am in one of my contemplative moods tonight, and felt like I wanted to play a game which would be an interesting experience, rather than simply playing a game. So I bought Dear Esther on Steam, having heard whisperings on RPS that it would be just such a game an interactive media. It did not disappoint.

Went to the library to drop some books off today, and I looked around at the free book section (aka, book that they are giving away because no one has checked them out in ages, and won't sell in the little bookstore that they sell books that no one will check out in), and ended up with a rather neat book.

The book is a history of Lenin and Stalin, and the early history of the Soviet Union. The best part is that it was written in 1960 smack dab in the middle of the Cold War, so what I read will be at least to some extent strongly biased by the Cold War that was at the time in full swing.

Whatever the authors thoughts, it promises to be a interesting read.

We had rain and hail so heavy and intense it coated our backyard in water up to my ankles in a matter of five minutes, and our concrete looked more like snow.

I like rain.

Just had lunch, some weiners and a piece of steak, nothing too special but we made it, we were hunry, we had mustard and beer to go with it and it was awesome. And right now I feel like just lying down and digesting for a few hours :>

Today, the wife of my Uncle made a very good lasagna.
The taste was divine and the touch upon my tongue was pretty much like this.
My stomach have almost never been happier.

Finally got a printer for our PC. Feels oh so good not to have to go elsewhere to get sheet musics. The icing on the cake? The printer is technically owned by my mum's boss, so it's free, the ink's free and it gets to sit here for some reason.
