Speaking of crazy-genius, I stumbled across this, and found it interesting.

That reminds me of an Unreal Tournament mutator that actually made that a killshot with a "CROTCH SHOT!!!" announcement every kill like that is done as well. It's plenty fun and funny, but it's also annoying since you now also have the same vulnerability as the bots/other players.

And now I am looking back at some classic UT99 stuff again, and am brewing nostalgia within.

Anybody up for some deathmatching or CTF? What about getting the Dr. Strangelove mod and going for a Redeemer race (it's exactly as it sounds; you ride the redeemers with this mod)?

Man, I feel like going for a UT99 map and mod binge again. I remember back then that those made up a fair amount of my old hard drive a good decade ago (why doesn't that feel so far back? I guess the game really is that timeless a classic). If it won't be too much work, I might wanna revive my old livestream channel and host some deathmatching again.

After looking closely at the actual BrikWars rules, it appears that, while the fan-made wiki seems to have been written by idiots, the creator of the game himself is actually quite an intelligent and witty person. I like that it encourages players not to worry about the rules (and to roll it out if there's a disagreement), and close combat sounds fun with parries and counterattacks and weapon reach being the actual length of the minifig's weapon. Plus there are cute illustrations of Lego guys being decapitated.
