Was cleaning out my old computer's files so we can reformat it and found my notes from Final Fantasy 8 from when some people found a glitch with the RNG.

That includes methods to both deliberately control the card rule changes between regions and a method to get guaranteed Rosetta Stones from the card player in the prison.

Surreal dark comedy has always been one of my guilty pleasures, and last night a friend showed me a bit of "Snuff Box" (one of the BBC's most obscure recent masterpieces of sketch comedy), which brought me unnecessary amounts of joy. (Note: the following links are probably NSFW, unless you have headphones)

The show was done by some of the folks involved with "The Mighty Boosh", and is crass, surreal, and irreverent in ways that I find absolutely hilarious... but unlike shows like "Little Brittain", the writing is actually good. Despite being incredibly vulgar at times, it's got this air of artful intelligence about it that really just makes it. It's a pity it was only a 6 episode series... I wish they'd do a second one!

Man, if the Borderlands people care that much about feedback and their players then I think I'll buy Borderlands 2. Haven't played the first one, but I like the way they do things already.

As long as they keep the loot system (and expand it, of course) I'll probably get this. Ads for the original Borderlands claimed something around 13 billion unique guns. They weren't exaggerating much

It says I need an "account". That doesn't include a Steam/Desura like program, does it?

no. GOG is like GamersGate: You download from the site.

And you get like, 2 or 3 other free games from just having the account anyway.
