Got a letter yesterday about how the governor of New York signed a law that give qualifying "disadvantaged youths ages 16-24" (I'm 24, and qualify for "disadvantaged", according to the letter) who find a job get $300 and wherever they work gets a tax credit.

Although I'm not 100% sure I'm in the requirted district, it still seems like a pretty sweet deal. I think I like this governor. I could use a free $300. And a job.

Won a free lunch by knowing how to do my job. My boss had five tickets to a pizza fundraiser in a couple of weeks, and decided to give them out by doing technical trivia questions in email. Cue me and the top four smartest folks around here nailing all the questions while everyone else was either Googling furiously or just going "Durr wha?"
