Beat Devil Survivor 2 for the second time in the 2 weeks I've owned it.

Too much free time? What's that?

If you have too much free time, you don't have enough hobbies.

Quote from: Chesterton
For, in order that men should resist injustice, something more is necessary than that they should think injustice unpleasant. They must think injustice absurd; above all, they must think it startling. They must retain the violence of a virgin astonishment. When the pessimist looks at any infamy, it is to him, after all, only a repetition of the infamy of existence. But the optimist sees injustice as something discordant and unexpected, and it stings him into action.

Fixed my grandmother's computer today. She offered to pay me, but her profuse thanks were plenty. ^_^

Spent all day playing a hotseat game of Third Age Total War with my brother, him as the Dwarves and me as the High Elves. For being dying races, my family tree is huge. Something like 40 members by turn 70. I swear, Glorfindel is the population growth in Mithlond.

Anyway, two of the hardest factions. One's a poor faction with many heavy infantry and many foes. The other's a poor faction with a slow recruitment rate. They fight crime.

Got dragged up to the Mall of America today. Apparently there was a con of some kind adjacent; ran into a Terezi cosplayer while wandering around the building. Truly, it was fortuitous that I was wearing my Hero of Mind hoodie at the time (hooray for homestuck infiltrating absolutely everything).

In the days when Sussman was a novice, Minsky once came to him as he sat hacking at the PDP-6.
“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

It's 4AM on monday morning, the week after RIT's career fair. Which means all the application letters I send now will be the first thing in their inboxes when they get to work in 5 hours. :D

Edit: Oh thank you, sweet Google, for saving my ass by noticing I forgot to attach my resume to an application letter. That would have been almost as bad as the time a few weeks ago I accidentally sent in an application to IBM using the resume I had intended for Intel; and which stated as much in the resume.

Well it certainly brings a smile to your face when you walk past a gay bar in the middle of china town playing Rick Astley.

Up to 27 points in Drawception.

I was also privileged with the opportunity to draw for a Dwarf Fortress shout out.  Anybody here going to take credit for this?  I only wish I could have done it more justice!

Yesterday, Frumple finally got around to finding out how long you're supposed to bake potatoes.

Today, and every day extending into the future, is Baked Potato Day.

Protip: Baked potatoes are finger food.

Oh, forgot to mention. Yesterday was my birthday. I didn't say anything because no one would have believed me. :P
