Through Paranatural, I found another fairly young webcomic called Vibe, which is also exceedingly cool and well-done. The hero is a witchdoctor who fights "bad vibes", and the story deals with Voodoo lore in a far more indepth way than most stories do (voodoo dolls, I'm looking at you). The whole "externalization of internal conflict" thing is a really neat angle too... I'm surprised more stories haven't borrowed or been inspired by Voodoo lore!

Yeah, I was sucked into those for a while too, at least the first 5 or 6 pages. I love what people do with the stick figure signs, especially now that I automatically ascribe any odd stick-figure signs to Aperture Science....

But I gotta say I'm impressed. Very few heroes of that age are main physical fighters and this is the first time I've seen the Dumb Muscle trope being applied to a little girl (including the resident macho calling her that word by word).

Went to a beach today, water is still rather cold, but in a week or two it should be just perfect for swimming. Then I was delayed in leaving our Programming lab while a friend copied parts of the assignment (which I awesomely finished[it was a tad on the retardedly easy side]). Luckily this made my timing perfect enough that I bump into the girl i like while leaving the building. Had a nice chat while on the way home.
