My undergrad alma mater had roughly a 5:1 female-male ratio. But the running joke was that out of those 5, 2 had boyfriends off-campus, 2 were dating each other (we had an absurdly high LGBT percentage), and the fifth one just f**king hated you.

Been watching Reboot. This show is so cheesy. And wonderful. Nostalgia, you are a powerful force, indeed. On the other hand, one of the villains is a crazy cat lady with no face who expresses her emotions through a variety of masks. I wish I could make shit like this up. The only sadness is that Netflix only has the first two seasons.

I miss Reboot.    And most everything else from that era honestly.  Nostalgia is indeed a powerful force.

So, it seems that out of my uni, I'm pretty much the 'Second Guy To Go To' in terms of boyfriend material (First place goes to a model/actor who is absurdly buff, to the point that it makes every other male in the room feel embarrassed)... The amount of flirting that went on was ludicrous, I'm on the verge of having to fight them off!

So clearly I'm doing something right with my appearance, and my few remaining vestiges of acne are not affecting this as I had feared.

What boggles my mind is just... how... DIFFERENT uni is to Tafe, and indeed to highschool...

Today alone, I got asked for my phone number by...

6 seperate girls.
Awww yeah.

Got a smexy new notebook from work, with arguably better hardware in it than my home PC. Other than needing to reformat the drive because of all the pre-installed bloatware, I'm quite happy!

Busy day, but it's finally over. And I'll eventually be able to spend my money online!

English class actually made me in a good mood today. I was in a bad mood this morning, and got to English class in second period. We were assigned the task of creating a narrative poem, which I would normally hate.

But with the help of a news article I read last night, and a friend of mine, I began writing. My poem is about a cannibal who murders someone and eats them up. It is wonderful, and by changing the title to  "The Zombie's Meal" (and taming it down a bit), it is even appropriate for school. So fun to write.

Here it is:

I saw him frolicking in the snow,
and I knew he had to go.
I beat him all about the head,
until I found him fully dead.

Now I have something to confide:
my tummy had a deep rumbling inside.
I couldn't wait another hour,
he I just needed to devour.

First I removed his hide,
then I took him for a ride.
I shoved him in the giant oven
after I gave him some marinade lovin'.

With a "ding" the corpse is done;
time to put it on a bun.
Oh how I just cannot wait,
to digest this delicious plate.

I'm beginning to feel quite lean,
think that I'll start with the spleen.
Though I really have no taste for grains,
I'd really love a side of brains.

And I truly think I will not grow,
if I don't nibble off this toe!
But I am starting to feel kind of ill,
my stomach has finally began to fill!

The police are coming; I start to frown,
now is the time to flee the town.
But how great it was on this night,
to eat a bite of Turkish Delight.

I should take another creative writing class. Despite nearly failing one in high school (ADHD sucks by the way), it was probably one of the best classes I took back then.

My old university had some wacky requirements that were far outside my major, though, so couldn't take one there.
