Okay, back.The weather is definately nice, reminds me of Austria. Everything is withing walking distance.

I'm still living out of a suitcase, and so is my sister, but we'll have and appartment soon. National scholarship came through, so we ought to get enough cash to have fun (seriously, the scholarship pays quite a bit, especially when there is only one rent). Also, no more dealing with airplanes for a while.

I passed Algebra, the only class I was worried I wouldn't pass.  Even better, I don't have any math at all this quarter.  All these numbers can melt their way back out of my brain.  Delicious.

I finally got an old copy of Tomb Raider 1 to play on my computer and caught up to where I was on the PS1. Now I can finally finish this damn game. Beat the second one, halfway with the third, but never beat the original.

Amazingly, it's running and looking awesome on DOSBox thanks to a 3dfx installer program putting it in in a higher resolution (though original graphics) and running properly. It was fun killing of a classic T-Rex in that game again. Still have to beat the second part of the game (Rome I think), as with the rest of it as well.

Ah, memories... I forgot how aggravating this game can get, and I haven't reached the really hard levels yet. This was back while the series was still good and fun.

The only Tomb Raider I've ever beaten is Legend (Yeah, yeah, I know)

Tomb Raider 1 I got to the Cistern
2 I got to Wreck of the Maria Doria,
3 I didn't even beat the second level, I didn't like 3
Last Revelation I'm not sure how far I got before I started cheating, I distinctly remember playing Senet.
After that things got weird, with Chronicles and Angel of Darkness and all.  Angel of Darkness glitched up right after the museum and that crazy tomb inside it.

... But I loved Tactics Advance one and two. Two was pretty much one, but prettier and with more stuff in it. Which I love. Kind of the Stronghold 2 to Stronghold Crusaders.
Both of which are the best castle sim/combat games since 'Castles'.

One thing I remember about Stronghold was that cheat thing that I activated by chance that let me spawn something like a couple hundred Sherwood Archers, position them on my castle and pretty much force everyone within a hundred feet of the castle to fight in the shade. That and the Rat Dude with the rat shaped helmet. Ahhhh, nostalgia.
