Maid RPG. That is all.

I'm unsure how much detail I can get into here without causing problems so I think Ill try and remember things that are funny but not too bad.

Kobolds heads exploiding post cheerleader preformance.

Cheech Marin as a carpenter named Jesus, that one maid kept calling Jose.

A very grumpy tsundere 14 year old master with pink hair named after armor plating.

A maid I envisioned as looking like a elvish tanned Roberta from Black Lagoon.

My own maid which got described as an elvish pervert pinkie pie.

And the fridge exploded in wood and Jesus. Not to mention the flour bomb that tore a maids shirt off before playing a few mocking trombone notes.
That sounded so weird, I just had to look it up.

Yeah, "Maid RPG" is a real thing.  It can hardly be called a table-top game, it's really more of a roleplaying encouragement device, and I'm pretty sure it wasn't made by a real company.

Do not ask me how I know these things.

...wat? I mean. That. What? I don't think I've seen anything as mad as ONE of those in any RPG I've played... Well, maybe once or twice. But still.

...I'm tempted to look into this now.

Sounds like my kind of game. The best tabletop games eschew as many rules as possible and just set the scene for good roleplaying.

They must think injustice absurd; above all, they must think it startling. They must retain the violence of a virgin astonishment. When the pessimist looks at any infamy, it is to him, after all, only a repetition of the infamy of existence. But the optimist sees injustice as something discordant and unexpected, and it stings him into action.

It's all about adapting to crazy shit and making crazy shit happen. And all you need really is some d6s. And some crazy friends.

I'm watching Apocalypse Now.  It makes me happy both because it's a good movie, and because I get it.  Getting movies like this makes you feel smart.

If you have stuck up friends it can also be awkwardly hilarious if they go along with it anyway.

Hummus: The ultimate sandwich spread?

Perhaps. Experimentation will have to continue for this to be more than a hypothesis. For the moment, fried egg and spinach go well with it. I look forward to additional combinations.

“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

Those sandwich elements that hummus doesn't go well with, as far as I know, like fresh sweet fruit, are generally served quite adequately with some chocolate hazelnut spread.

Together, the two have pretty much the entire sandwich gamut covered.

So the real question is: How does hummus taste with sauerkraut?

Pink hair named after armor plating? I didn't know you could name colors from armor pieces.

At school today, I was building and optimizing my paladin for a D&D game. I was supposed to be studying the poetry of Ralph Waldo Emerson. My teacher walks past me, confiscates and inspects the paper, and tells me to stay after class. I was expecting a detention and some ridicule from any other students who might have glimpsed the exchange. Instead, when I stay after, my normally strict teacher becomes almost scarily giddy and starts talking to me about D&D. Turns out a few of the history and English teachers get together and play after school. I'm not invited into their gaming group or anything, but I thought it was extremely funny in a surreal way.

*GASP!* Err... uh... Right, remain dignified. Squee! I'm excited! That there's my opinion.

I'm glad someone's actually trying this time.
