Today is so beautiful for a day off. Went for a walk and it felt nice. Helped me recover from cave adaptation from work.

I got a copy of C&C4 a few days ago (release day, actually), This means I now have all of the games in the series (Both TFD and originals). Normally this wouldn't make me happy, Since I had all of the others before this one was released anyway.

What makes me happy here, Is that today I learned that none of the other "hardcore" C&C fans in this area can claim this. They are all missing one or two (usually Sole Survivor or one of Dawn's Expansions).

Top that off with the fact somebody pointed out that, in a pinch, my Edward Carnby costume could be converted into a NOD officer costume with little more than a spray-painted-black mask, black beret (beret?) and a change of pants.

This is a wondrous thing, Brothers.

I just got finished compiling with all the data for my f-marg game, and just started working to make it a real scripted game...

I'm in Washington right now. Got here yesterday, but had some net trouble.

Also, I'm not jetlagged. Managed to stay awake untill 9pm yesterday and woke up at 7am. Great to be awake at normal people hours after a flight, especially a fourteen hour one.

Anyway, I have another flight tommorrow before getting to Eugene, so I won't be here all day.

Lucky for you, yesterday and today are both wonderful days.

I havent seen the movie but this little bit of fridge brilliance hit me.

He's SUPPOSED to be like that. He's a museum version of Lincoln. That's all he really is.

I don't know why but that totally random thought made me happy because it feels like I found out something silly.

Now if one could actually learn something about life, or a universal truth about some fundamental could be gleamed, from it, then it would have been a good movie. But you can't, so it isn't, and is just another movie in the eternal pile of crowd pleasing, escapist, entertainment movies.  Not that there is anything wrong with that type of movie.  I just like a little more, shall I say, depth to my movies?

I'm veeeerrrry slowly working on a new videogame idea. I don't anticipate this one being nearly as huge or massive as my last one, but I still like the general shape of it.

I'm a little sad right now, because my old Donatathon thread hasn't received a hit since January 5.  Which kinda defeated the purpose.  However, it does give me cover to change my signature now.  With a rather poignant quotation.
