I'm surprised y'all don't remember that. Daily Show and Colbert made a big deal out of it back when it happened. Glad to have made a few days, though. :D

Today's generally been a good day all around, which is a nice counterpoint to the "grumblegrumblefucktheworld" days I was having last week. Although I still have to set foot in the mall for some late Christmas shopping. That's always a good way to crush any hope I have in the human race.  :-\

I've gotten back into GMing small roleplaying games between me, my brother and up to two friends. I just finished a playtest of a (VERY) small D20-style zombie survival ruleset and it went great. One of the NPC ally characters died, but the players finished off four zombies in total, including a Bloat from Killing Floor.

I finished Arrested Development.  Now there's a void in my life.

As great as it was, I can see why it didn't last.  Really convoluted storylines, some of the most unsympathetic characters since Kane and Lynch, strong continuity diminishing the humor if you aren't watching everything in order, and the whole recurring incest theme probably didn't make the show very palatable for the average viewer.

Still an awesome show, probably the best sitcom I've ever seen, but definitely not something the usual TV-watching crowd would enjoy.

Had a very full weekend. My Birthday was Saturday, and I had a nice large gathering of friends for various board games. Then we did our group's holiday party on Sunday, which was full of good food, some friends I hadn't seen in a while, and more games. I'm really tired today, but I had a blast!

Got back the results of my last exam. I screwed up the first question due to my usual lack of comprehension skills, but scored 75% of the marks nevertheless. Whoop.
