War Games, Taxi Driver, now watching season 5 of the Office with some really good, heartburn-inducing pizza.

Through late-night kitchen experimentation rigorous scientific tests, I have empirically proven that goat cheese + tomato paste + roasted garlic creates the best base for a pasta sauce ever. Throw a little sauted Italian Sausage in there, and serve over spaghetti with a side of <Green Vegitable of Choice>, and you have the best Bachelor Chow ever.

I'll have to remember this one for the next time I'm trying to impress someone. Even the leftovers are made of win and tastyness!

Has anyone here ever had Chubby's pizza?  It might just be an Ohio thing.  It is simultaneously the best and worst pizza ever made.  Worst because eating it will give you coronary artery disease within ten minutes.  Best because the cheese is so stretchy when you bite down and pull away your arms will fully extend before the cheese breaks or comes off the pizza.  It's incredible.  Best pizza ever.

LaRosa's does that, and it's a big part of why LaRosa's sucks.

Good day :D

I seem to have aced my metric differential geometry midterm, my English midterm should be relaxing, and I'm going home this weekend.  I also have the good fortune to get an entire week off before the next set of midterms, which means I have a chance of getting my English paper out of the way before everything goes crazy again.

I also got invited to live with some people I knew in high school, so I'll probably be all squared away for next semester and be able to eat whenever I want.  I'll also finally get my own room  ::)

Additional: Easter is coming :3  Things are looking up.

I was bugged into joining for SkillsUSA like two weeks ago and it's coming up next Friday.  It's going to be on math so we'll see what we'll see.  I have to dress formally so I can do math problems.  I see no reason for this sounding stupid.  Whatever, guess I'll need to find black socks.  Did I mention it's on a Friday?

Oh right, something happy besides doing things for shiny medals, which don't make me happy.

I'm going on a field trip (I payed for of course) this Friday, it's pretty on the down low so not that many people know about it, yahhh.

Even if every freakin museum I go to is built for "kids".  Sigh, where is something more sophisticated.

Usually museums that focus on Art and History tend to cater to the highbrow of the world, and often have some cool exhibits. Still, there's a certain wonder in the Science-Center-style museums though... I still like playing with Jacobs Ladders, solving mechanical puzzles, and seeing how many volts of electricity I can produce on a bike-generator!

My city of residence has a lot of nice small museums within driving distance, and there's a nice little Wildlife/Archaeological museum on campus too. Canada's a short trip for me, and there's a rather spiffy museum in Ontario that had a great exhibit on the Dead Sea Scrolls not too long ago.

Happy stuff! I saw a Crow waltzing around, who happened upon a shiny piece of metal foil. He kept pecking at it, and eventually picked it up, strutting around to show off his new toy to the other crows. He looked positively beside himself, as much as a bird can be... it was adorable.

Alright, I have a stand up shower which is shared by my roommate and two sweepmates, which are in an adjacent room. This shower is occupied by an eye-sore of a rack which is propped between the floor and ceiling by a spring mechanism. Every section of this rack is completely full of cleaning products, such that all the extras have to be placed on the floor and this takes up the valuable floor space, which is painfully limited. This rack and most of it's products are owned by one of my sweepmates, who just so happens to be of a below average height. I volunteered today to clean up the entire bathroom, including the shower (which is so horrifically neglected in terms of cleaning that I wonder how it can be used at all) and I believe I did a good job, inspite of it taking awhile due to my slow, thorough method of doing things.

Anyway, doing this cleaing required me to take it out, which I got permission to do, then I put it back in, but rearranged the racks so that now one is placed unusually high, and I highly doubt that it's short owner will manage to reach it. I think this is hilarious.

Before anyone replies, calling me a passive aggressive jerk, I did it for a good reason. The rack is so rusted that the welding that held one of the shelves in place got loose, and it couldn't hold itself up anymore. So what I did was that I placed the rack higher up, ontop of a rubber stopper meant to protect the spring, so that the rack could still be SOME use, as opposed to completely useless.

Still funny.

My college is apparently the smallest to ever reach the NCAA tournament or something. I Have no idea how important this is, and I really couldn't care less about anything involving sports(especially since I don't know any of the athletes). The important thing is, most of my classes are canceled Friday! Yay!

Blarg, showers are hard sometimes when you're basically blind.  You can't really wear your glasses in the shower you know.
I've memorized where all the shampoo and stuff is so I can do the whole thing with my eyes closed.
Oh and when I was wearing an arm cast?  Not fun, you had to put a bag on it and you still couldn't let it near the water.
