I will be leaving in the morning for the Washington State Cross Country Championships. My team has a shot at glory, so long as we run like hell and take no prisoners.

I'll see you folks in two days. I'll either be ecstatic or I'll be incredibly pissed off at myself for not training hard enough these past four years. Nothing to do now but run my heart out.

I didn't clean out my blender all that well (read: at all; I just ran some water in it and left it in the sink) after making horchata a couple of weeks back, and now there is a fuzzy mold colony growing in the stagnant sugar/cinnamon/rice/milk mixture that's left over.

I don't know exactly what the colony has suddenly started respiring*, but it smells delicious.

*probably not the right word, but I'm kind of over cellular biology. Kind of.

Edit: On second whiff, it's halfway between delicious and gross. Also, something in the sink has eaten through one of my scouring pads.

I... I should probably clean my kitchen before the mold starts developing language skills.

Whoo! This time it was with a huge machinegun though. Welp. I guess I can go back to the plot since now i have over 1000 rounds for BOTH my primary weapons, good armor, and uhh... Nearly maxed out on weight I'm carrying.

I can't decide if I should work or sleep after that nap... decisions, decisions.

At least I did manage to go wash my hair and take a shower, which was quite necessary.  And one of my least favorite lectures has been cancelled for tomorrow, and I dreamed about math while I slept.  That was nice, too.

Maybe I'll sleep for a couple of hours and then do the working thing.


Kinda lonely, though.  Hurm.
