Yes, I have non-negative wealth! This leaves 600 dollars with which to pay student loan payments, rent, and buy food, which means another month of cheap food and another delay before beginning wine and chainmail, but if foregoing luxuries is the worst of my problems then I'm pretty sure I'll deal. It's not like I buy bad cheap food, and I should still be able to afford my planned sandwichy madness tomorrow. And I'll be getting a pile of extra money next month since they had me working extra this month, but paychecks assume only the hours for which I was hired (and further did not pay for days in the month before I was hired, so it was already going to be my smallest paycheck).

Finally got The Day of the Triffids, after waiting a couple weeks.

Book, film, TV series, or radio series even? I really enjoyed the book and recent TV series but haven't seen any of the rest.

Oh, and the movie was a cheesy 60s "alien invasion" type, with obligatory happy ending grafted onto the loose plot ends. Still a guilty pleasure though.

Aussies hardly have to worry about zombies, the natural wildlife would take the zombies feeble attempts to kill you as an insult and destroy them all.

Do you have any idea how deadly zombie wombats are? They will burrow under your house then break through the floor at night, totally bypassing your strategically over turned tables. Australian zombie invasions are like insane mode.

In other news, We have apparently aquired like, 90 boxes of field rations, I'm a little bit afraid that Yumi managed to get all these into the house without me noticing.
