Since there's been another Minecraft pre-release I've been working on that all morning. Some really tricky sprites finished already some worse ones to go. Listening to a mix a friend made is setting the pace nicely.

You have some fun fights ahead of you! Protip: Don't use cheap tactics.
Anyway, I loved Zelda II, and you are right, the swordplay is to die for. I am slowly working on a multiplayer game right now with a similar combat system, so you can fight your friends with similar swordsplay, but it is all hush hush.

I'm not sure what you consider cheap tactics? So far I've done anything necessary to survive. I also had to grind a little to get my level up in places but I can't level up any further. Quite surprised to find a goodly number of unique foes in this deathtrap of a palace. Still mapping the place out.

I'm not going to give too much away, but there are two ways to beat the final boss. Either hax the AI, or be the best fucking swordsmen ever in that game.
Seriously, that boss... *shiver* I couldn't do it honestly, and in the end found it easier to play through the entire game again on emulator and make a quick save just before it, because short of that, no way I would ever have enough lives. It is one of the most challenging bosses in the LoZ series, that is for sure.
Well, unless you know about a flaw in the AI, but don't use that. You have come so far, why cheapen the victory?

I wasn't supposed to watch another episode. It's 11:30 at night, I'm trying to stabilize my sleep schedule for when the final term of school starts and every episode takes an hour. But the end of season one was so damn good I literally could not bring myself to not watch the opening of season two. I have never been this hooked to a TV show, ever, ever.

Today I'm going to wander into the AP Art History class during one of my state-imposed free periods and start on the two day test that all them art kids have been whining about. I needed to study art more anyway. Apparently if I do well enough on the test, I can unofficially join the class, so that's swell.
