I got my computer back today.

I sort of panicked.

It was in terrible condition when I got it. Both the Video Cards fell out (along with the screws keeping it in), and the CPU fan was torn off. There was thermal paste FUCKING EVERYWHERE. On the wires, on the Case, on my motherboard. I nearly had a panic attack. I rushed my parents over to help clean it up and put any stray wires and shit back where they belong.

Thankfully, ever so goddamn thankfully, It still works.

For that.

I am happy.

:)

Talking about gods, oh boy, the idols really make the game difficult. Especially since the "No potion drops from enemies" also applies to Who Knows Where, so say goodbye to the potions falling from the sky in between the waves.
Get Leechade. Get a weapon with a DoT upgrade (Bow for example). Heal yourself full at simple enemies. Not tried yet, but it's said to work. Otherwise I guess nobody would get the DoT over more raw damage.

Oh and Dual Revolvers still suck, even with full upgrades, at least with all the idols on. And I planned to play with Carabine and Revolvers this time...

Hmm, Dual Revolvers were my main weapon basically since I got them in my first playthrough. Although they are probably not that good on all-idol mode. I always used Revolvers/Carbine. Firing my carbine, firing 4 revolver shots, carbine, 4 revolver shots, carbine...
It always worked out pretty well.

On one hand, I fell asleep while studying.

On the other hand, afternoon nap! Yay!

I played NWN2 for the first time in years, got some relief on my awful foot/leg pain, made a cool $20 and watched Nostalgia Critic in addition to passing all my quizzes.

Today was a good day.

That is exactly why I love Florida.  We may have big hurricanes, swarms of tornadoes(with no basements due to aquifer), one of the highest lightning strike death counts in the country, and that one MegaTsunami doomsday scenario discovery channel harped about a few years ago that would literally make Florida cease to exist, but at least the ground under our feet is stable!

...Oh wait...sinkholes...crap.

Amen. Let's not forget, we're hardened to experiencing hurricanes to the point that unless it's mandatory to evacuate (usually past CAT3), we call out hurricane parties.

Hell, grab yourself a skateboard and a bedsheet, and ride the winds. Oh yeah, and when the mega-tsunami eventually comes, I'm breaking out my surfboard and seeing if I can surf all the way to the Gulf of Mexico; especially since there's almost no escape from it once it falls. Not enough time to drive away + tons of panicked people, I-95 and I-4 are already hell enough as it is. A panicky warzone would just make that road undrivable.

(Also there are big, surprisingly smart, spiders, and the fact we're a certified shark capital.)

BTW, I didn't know you were a Floridian.

Beat my typing speed record, if only by one word per minute. I'm fairly pleased though, as it's one of my few and far between skills.

On a new gadget high this past week, since I got my Acer Iconia W500.  Finally replaced my old Wolverine ESP, which was my PMP for 5+ years.  I can't believe the leap in mobile technology in that time.  Soooooo awesome!

Also, I drop off the forums a bit for a couple weeks and what happens?... Vector stops using food avatars.  It's like Sean Bean playing a character who doesn't die!
