Play the other games Team ICO have done too.
I've got loads of PS2 games to catch up on but both of Team ICO's games are at the top of my list. Might have to start a thread in Other Games for some advice.

I considered it, but in this instance I was feeling too arrogant.

I'll spoiler it in about 5 minutes or so.

Yeah... this is my family's computer, not mine, so it's got some weird stuff on it like Norton.  Rosetta was only for the Polish, though I'm starting to suspect that program's generally a bad idea =/  Thanks for the link!

Okay, now the external DH is on its way. All I need to do now is find some blank CDs and something to put on them.

What. I lost! By a pretty incredible margin! Although actually this is still the right thread for this post, so take from that what you will.

In the days when Sussman was a novice, Minsky once came to him as he sat hacking at the PDP-6.
“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

Oh... hahaha!  I'm really glad you're happy about it!

I was going to post last night that I was moving on to Disc 2 so that you'd get a chance to do a last-minute scramble or just, you know, be writhing in intimidation (... >_>), but then it was 3 AM, I hadn't actually gotten there and I had no idea how much more I'd have to get done.

And... you know.

Anyway, I'm glad to have been challenged to a race, because I honestly really enjoyed this game and got to liking it more and more as I went along.  As much as I can understand why some people would call it crappy (for example, the kudzu plot and a certain lack of danger, and not much character-driven storyline), I was really impressed by all the artistic choices (particularly the dungeon art, which I think is probably the best I've ever seen on a PS1 game) and thought that the large cast was a good choice for the construction of the game.

Also, Dragon God is really nice.

I'm even considering playing a New Game+ in the far future, but that'll have to be a long time after I've gotten off my bum and actually beaten FFVI.

Just finished Shadow of the Colossus for the first time. Made me sad but also happy. Great game; I'm looking forward to playing through the other modes.
Play the other games Team ICO have done too.
SotC is truly a work of art. My personal favorite battle has to be against Phalanx (the sky-serpent). Coolest battle in the game.

Why is Rosetta Stone bad?

And, um, I learned stuff about the quadratic today. Yeah.

I really liked both the flying ones. For some reason being on them whilst in the air gave a heightened sense of scale. About it being a work of art: all the little details made it for me.
