Go to the wiki, there's tons of references there.

Also, I love cupcakes.

I may have just gotten someone to sign up for the forums...

This is entirely your fault, Vector :p

If they turn out to post frequently, that is. I make no promises there.

“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

I was talking about the Rage thread and she said the forum sounded interesting, and then a little bit ago she was asking me about how to get her profile set up since several of the options seem to be missing for her for some inexplicable reason.

... I'm just gonna say... wow, really?!

That makes two people who have joined this forum for VCaRPRT alone o_O

I'm oddly touched.  Also surprised that so many people are discussing My Works offline.  Like, you know, my bruises.

Hey, those bruises were masterpieces, I assume. They will probably be referred to as Archetypical Bruises in the history books. The history books that will chronicle the different significant bruises of history.

At this point of my life, it's all one endless celebration interspersed with periods of losing sleep volunteering my life for a ridiculous amount of fruitless causes.

And somehow it's mostly working.

Party in SF all weekend? Check. Donate the money that should be going to my non-existent rent here to various something or anothers? Check. Supply a number of services to various communities I like. Check. To top it off, I got an email from some of my "kids" in Thailand and an invitation to teach meditation and "flow" workshops in Tahoe.

Time to restart the Pyros for Obama campaign. ^-^ I want to raise $1000 for obama through fire performances. In 08 I hit $500.

Looking at Hamsteak fan art, watching animoo, and pretty much spending my last few days of summer vacation as a useless layabout.

Fun fun fun.

Going to watch more Sports Night with my roommate.

Also discovered that not all rhetoricians are skilled (Monster With a Thousand Faces fucking sucks).  This takes an enormous load off of my mind, because I can probably stick to the major authors pretty safely.  For a good reason.

Thank you, beloved Professor Poland, for reminding me of the importance of having good taste in all things.

... I miss him more than ever today, but I'll probably be able to see him as soon as next week!
