One of my exes called me. Normally I would not have bothered answering her but I guess I did for some odd reason. At first I resigned myself to the prospect of having to hold my ground against the constant accusations of a petulant child - when I got an apology. I don't know if she ever told me she was sorry before, and suddenly the entire mood of our conversation lightened. We were able to talk again as friends.

I've been invited to teach meditation and dance workshops in Tahoe come September. My applications for grad schools are playing out.

I busted the window of my room open and clambered up and onto the roof. I am pointing my G1 armed with Google Sky Maps up at the heavens and mapping the stars and tap-tap-tapping a joy of living onto my laptop. It has been a long time since I have paid much attention to astronomy or have had time to properly elucidate these fleeting, ephemeral emotions. The whole time Coleman Barks' Rumi dances in the back of my mind - a dervish song spinning fervently amidst other worlds away from our own.

Quote
The breeze at dawn has secrets to tell you.
Don't go back to sleep.

You must ask for what you really want.
Don't go back to sleep.

People are going back and forth across the doorsill
where the two worlds touch.

The door is round and open.
Don't go back to sleep.

And I have been told that the eyes are a window into another person's soul, but what windows are there when there are no walls left between us? <3

I had lots of processed, fattening garbage FOODZ. This makes me happy.

One of my exes called me.
I read that as .exes.
I misread it as "Axes". I was thinking "How the fuck does an axe call you?" for about 10 minutes.

Holy shit, I know I'm ridiculously late to the party, but The Nameless Mod is so awesome. You can go on its IRC channel in-game. And G-Flex was there. Hi G-Flex!
