I thought of that joke and was going to replace bear with cougar, but then I realized it was still the same joke.

I take that as a compliment.

However, said bruises were described to be a lot more impressive. I was a bit disappointed.
Still, there are people out there, who actually talk about Vectors bruises. You can be proud of yourself.

The only reason why they're impressive is because of how I got them.  I can say, though, that the picture wasn't totally indicative of just how bruised my hands were.
