CNN anchor Don Lemon answers a ton of questions on Reddit. I'm not the biggest fan of CNN (I prefer NPR) but if this guy is the genuine article he is pretty great.
This guy is my favorite news anchor. He doesn't want to do any bullshit stories and instead he focuses on stories that actually matter.

Confirmation bias. I read about thundereggs yesterday, and today I find that the rock shop has them in stock. Surely the latter is a consequence of the former!

In the days when Sussman was a novice, Minsky once came to him as he sat hacking at the PDP-6.
“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

Haha, the Thunderegg is the Oregon state rock. My state is so weird (and awesome).

Also, this is amazing. Mayor of the year, every year.

I just played through the entirety of Earthbound for the first time, over the course of 4 days.

How...can a game be this good? I don't understand it. If games can be this good, why aren't they?

Hehe... Forgot I was using programmer dvorak and started writing a post; which was promptly turned into gibberish.
In any case; little sister and I made dinner, and put together a quick little invention of mac & cheese, some sliced up hotdogs, and eggs. It was originally intended to be more omlet-like, but as they usually do on the first try of anything, things went wrong and it ended up more like eggy mac & cheese with hotdog chunks. But it actually turned out tasting very similar to quiche; now if I'm lucky I won't be violently ill tomorrow from the questionably cooked eggs. :D

For, in order that men should resist injustice, something more is necessary than that they should think injustice unpleasant. They must think injustice absurd; above all, they must think it startling. They must retain the violence of a virgin astonishment. When the pessimist looks at any infamy, it is to him, after all, only a repetition of the infamy of existence. But the optimist sees injustice as something discordant and unexpected, and it stings him into action.

I love that he swept up the glass himself after the car was towed.  That makes it all okay.

It's too bad that the whole thing was staged with a previously-junked Mercedes, but it's still an awesome message to send.

Two things:
1. Some of the comments for this video are pants on head retarded.

2. There are some bad ass tricycle designs.

Ya, my uncle went to his job on a tricycle; still uses it to get around now that he's retired. Decent way of getting exercise and avoiding paying for gas.

I finally have gotten one of those brief periods in my work schedule where I can slack off and not feel guilty about it because my boss is to busy to give me something to do. Woo~!
