I find the former horrendously fugly, but the latter can be quite attractive~

 Depends on the former. If somebody is lightly into it the form works out well enough. Its only when you reach beyond ripped to flailed that things become silly.

 More of a fan of roman ideal. Every muscle is huge and covered in a layer of fat. No definition, but arms are as thick as your head.

Well it depends on what sort of functionality your going for. The skinny, frail frame of a basement dweller needs less sugar to sustain itself, thus leaving more in reserve for higher thought process.

But yea, that is just about how it works. I mean look at these mannly men!
