What the hell? Google Voice Search?

I'm now reminded of Star trek and the whole "Computer where is X" when trying to find people on the ship.

When I got my glasses, they had this big machine that takes pictures of your retina.
Apparently, enough people requested it that now, they automatically email you the pictures.
The silvery thingy is the optical nerve.
The hair is eyelashes.

It's known as the Oppai-Kaiju effect. The islands of Japan generate a sort anti-gravity field, which allows breasts to behave as if in microgravity. It's also what allows Godzilla and friends to become 50 stories tall, and lets ninjas run up the side of a skyscraper.

It probably depends on the doctor.
Mine was an in-house doctor at a Lenscrafters.
She had tons of weird little gadgets for testing eyes.
Like a machine that goes ding when there's stuff.

Y'know how people have red eyes when you take a flash photo of them?
Imagine going right next to their eye and doing that in high resolution.
