I just saw the trailer for the new Brothers in Arms game.  They finally realized "Hey Guise Let's Be Band of Brothers" is done to death and wasn't that cool to begin with so they basically put Borderlands in World War 2 and called it Inglorious Basterds.

The circle is now complete...

Dear Police Chief from Mad Max,

Leather pants are okay as part of a fancy future-police uniform.  When you're wearing them shirtless, it's a bit weird.  It becomes more weird when you're a huge bald guy who wouldn't look out of place as a Nazi.

Thanks,
Squid

P.S. We're all impressed that you can shave with a straight razor, but turn down the damn classical music.  You're making us nervous and it's distracting.

And what's with that one biker who's always up in a tree or hanging from the ceiling or something?  Why can't he just walk around like everyone else?

Finally, voxels are getting some next-gen love!

The Atomontage Engine is looking pretty darned neat, for rendering volumetric 3D images or creating completely deformable terrain and objects. So cool!

Oh hell yeah. I found this gem a while ago when I was researching voxel stuff. sadly, the progress has been slow.

So I decided to read the first 21 pages of my thread.

Honestly guys. I say we've improved vastly. Toady barged in here so early in that I was utterly shocked and I was posting emoticons all over the forum like a moron.

This does actually make me happy.

You were also wearing pants on your head, which I just discovered actually is pretty comfy.

And we come full circle. I only regret that my pajamas are on the other side of the room and I don't want to wake up Chrissie or the twins getting them.

My pants are, unfortunately, too heavy to wear atop my head.
I did make a bitchin' turban out of some tux pants once, though.

I discovered a zombie game that's way better than All Flesh Must Be Eaten.

It's technically a wargame, not an RPG, which is actually a good thing.  Since wargames have lots of stuff going on there's a lot less bookkeeping.  AFMBE tried to minimize bookkeeping in weird ways which led to some rules just plain making no sense.  (I'm looking at you, determining hit location)

Since it's so simple I might look into hosting a forum-based campaign of it.
