You know what I love?  When you tell a blatant lie to cover your ass, and the lie falls apart, but before anyone figures out that you were lying, coincidences come about that make the lie work again.  Sometimes, my good luck is so circumstantial that I have to wonder if it isn't working to some sort of plan.

Finally killed a Great Jaggi. Failed that quest 3 times before killing her. Now I have a better sword though, I'm happy to take two on at once. Yaaaay. Going to be interesting when I get to her on my other character, though.

While torrenting a TOTALLY LEGITIMATE AND LEGAL SOFTWARE, I changed my power settings to optimal performance and my leeching went from 300Kb/s to a comparativly whopping 900Kb/s. Sorry nature, nothing personal.

I prefer the Gunlance myself. It's a bit slow, but it's got great power and defense. It's also useful if you've got a friend with you with a faster weapon, because then you can just block and take a ton of hits while your friend comes up behind and smacks the shit out of it. Make sure you have plenty of energy drinks and meat though, because blocking with that weapon drains stamina like a motherfucker.
