noo, it doesn't just flow around him like water does. the internal pressure inside a quicksilver drop is enormous.

if you put your hand inside a jar of quicksilver, don't count on being able to pull your hand out of it again (that is, you can muster the force to actually put your hand into such a jar.)

Wouldn't the hand be very buoyant, though?  Making it easy to remove?

I do claim that's not cool Akroma. The part about sticking your hand in it is cool thou.

It's even cooler to stick your feet in it so it enters your bloodstream.

If you apply it to a top hat you can really make it gleam. Even better, it'll make you insane given enough time.

Thus the term "Mad as a Hatter" draws its inspiration from.

Something that makes me happy is holding my breath in as long as I can (My record is two and a half minutes) just to exhale afterward.  Breathing in is good too, but that release when you finally exhale all that air feels so good, man.

so once parts of the bug, lets say a leg or so, is caught in it, and you move the stuff around a bit, it will rend him apart like the quicksilver drops are all the bugs greatest fans, and they all want a souvenir

Somebody explain to me why we can't smelt cinnabar in Dwarf Fortress.  I want to drip this stuff on invaders.

I just realized something. The open deck of the Bloodfist (Deck IV) where the emblem is placed, much of it (the light red parts) are made of cinnabar. Not the place you'd want to be if the ship is under siege or on fire.

Man, I wish I had some mercury.
And a fume hood.
I was tempted to buy a really awesome respirator at Ace today, but it was 50 dollars, and I didn't even have that much on me.

A Christian music festival and the events immediately following it made me very happy, if somewhat confused.

I have not only managed to figure out how to play Space Hulk (or figure out how to play it properly by finding the command screen), but I also managed to beat a mission in it as well. ;D

NOTE:
1 casualty, and it was an ambush against 1 unlucky terminator who I couldn't save in time. However, mission success.

the photo used was on google, it's neither me, nor my quicksilver

the quicksilver I have at home comes from breaking several old thermometers. it's about enough to fill a bottlecap.

yes, I am aware of the health risks
