Modding Minecraft with my lolicore blasting through my amp.
Taskbar has explorer, control panel, cygwin, Chromium, Foobar, Mabinogi, and Eclipse pinned.
I feel awesome right now.

Roommate playing DDO upon finding a chest: 'These things would be more interesting if occasionally chests would shoot a fireball at you when you opened it.' Roommate clicks on chest to open it. Roommate is immediately hit by a fireball from the chest and half a dozen creature spawn. :D

DDO is a fun game, though I eventually got so fed up with the lag I was getting that I uninstalled it.

Playing DDO. Got a tri-class to level 8. 4 rogue, 3 wizard, 1 fighter. It is looking like a very good build for now. Already started another character to shadow this one and start fine-tuning the build.

I must say, this is my first time using a real IDE, and it is so fucking sexy.

Meanwhile, I'm now listening to Rage instead of lolicore, and it sounds great through the amp.
I kicked up the treble and mids a bit, though, so I can get more Tom Morello.

Get it from the internets?

Nope, I get headaches reading crud on screens much of the time.  I'll make exceptions for short stuff and things I really can't get in English, but in general I really like a physical copy.

Reading the Go Rin No Sho (at least the copy my sensei used to have) is a lot like reading the Silmarillon. You can see that the concept is there, and you understand what the author is trying to do...but it's broken up into so many pieces that it can't really get anything across, losing any impact it could have had.

That's probably the best breakdown I've seen of Musashi. Guy was definitely a better fighter than a writer--although I wonder how much of the problem is simply translation issues.

Just... Why?

What was this doing in a truck in the middle of a warzone!
... You're very strange. That minaret is blown to pieces and you're worried about a truck? Crazy Janet, crazy.
I'm more concerned about the gold-plated AK-74u. Gold isn't exactly a weapons-grade metal.
But meh, I've seen stranger things in warzones.

Well, the gun may deform somewhat with every round fired, but at least you'll have a good conductive metal on hand if you need one. For some reason.

far more likely than not it's just gold plated, not made of pure gold

That's just lazy then. If you're going to go for overblinged guns, you might as well go all the way and use pure gold. It isn't like you'll be using it in combat either way.
