Just saw my dog successfully defeat a gopher.

Working on curses for my game, and I am a horrible, horrible little man.

If held: For each round of combat this weapon is held, roll 1D10. If a 1 is rolled, this weapon attacks you for your normal damage with the weapon. Otherwise, the weapon has a power of -10.

If worn: For each round of combat this item is worn, roll 1D10. If a 1 is rolled, this item turns into a mass of suckered tentacles, and attempts to smother you. It fails to do any damage to you, however, you lose your action, and your defensive scores are all 0 for the remainder of the round.

Managed to rekindle my appreciation for Dwarf Fortress. I feel like such a benevolent god, leaving them to their little society, churning out but the simple tools they live by and tending their flocks.

So, I've finished the descriptions for two of the stones, and made up the curse above. That little stint was more productive (for my game) then every single day of last semester combined. Time to get back on track!

Good god I can't quote this hard enough. Alternatively intersections right next to a school without traffic lights. When school lets out its a constant stream of kids that don't have the sense to stop and allow some cars to go by occasionally. This leads to practically the only way to get through it is nearly hitting several kids, I see so many close calls on a regular basis.
