Despite my work day (6am to 5pm, and hearing the same music over and over and over and over and over again),
this cheered me up a bit. That and an awesomely made grilled cheese sandwich. Cast iron pans and a proper searing makes all the difference.

To continue my musical deficiency rehabilitation, I just have to say that Audiosurfing the Panzer Dragoon Orta soundtrack is just downright fun and great to listen to.
Eternal Glacies is just as frantic, pretty, and fun as it was in the original game.

Probably my favorite level in the series. Maybe it's because you're reduced to lvl 1 firepower and can't change forms. The limit adds a challenge to the entire level, and it's just pretty and insane at the same time.

Might consider trying to see what I can do about restoring my old XBOX into working order. Besides a checkup to make sure everything's in working order (maybe a good interior dusting/cleaning; warranty is void anyhow), all I really need is a set of working controllers again. My old ones are in such crappy condition, I'd be lucky to be able to operate them properly; plus, Amazon.com seems to have a good deposit of them still in good condition and at good prices used. Only thing remaining is a switchbox to plug it into my TV and I'm set to play some classics. I still have all my old games intact and in working order.
Additional note: My nephew also has an old XBOX as well (my older sister's) and a couple controllers as well. I can always try to borrow a controller I guess.
