A Chinese guy next to me is describing Group Theory for an English proficiency test :D

How is that going to work out? Half the words involved won't be in an english majors vocabulary.

What, like function, group, define, and multiplication?

Sure, "associative" and "commutative" won't be very popular.  But this was a very basic thing.

I had thought I was doing really awful in terms of grades in my programming class.

I checked online and found out I was completely wrong. Whoo!

Mum has great taste in music. Got an album off her of Somalian music, and it is so beautiful and relaxing.

Decided to try out the live versions of some Oingo Boingo songs. I am even more hooked than I was before. Dead Man's Party is just brilliant when it's live, despite how oxymoronic it sounds.

I got a B on my Algebra test. you don't know how much of an accomplishment this is for me, I hate that class so much. I'm one of the few people at the average point on the bell curve.

So I got my ACT scores today.

I got a 32 and am in the 98th percentile for the entire U.S.

This is absolutely fantastic.
Couldn't you have waited like, four posts!?

Oh, wow!  It's so neat to find someone else who plays that game.  I have really fond memories of it from when I was a little kid.

Yeah. I remember playing that game when I was about 6 or 7. I played it 'till the disk was too damaged to use anymore.

Then, I dedicated about 5 years of my life to finding the game, as I wanted to play it so badly. I looked in second hand stores, Ebay and other websites but I could never find it. I just ended up downloading it in the end. (I assume it's legal as you cannot get the game anymore and I owned a copy)

If it's that difficult to find a physical copy then nobody would really care either way. And there is a lot of interpretation to what is and is not legal when it comes to downloading. My own morals would put you in the clear, but if there was some game distribution company or the original company made a remake there could be troubles.

But fuck it enjoy the game.

To continue the awesome score tangent, I got a 953/1000 on the first part of my IC3 (our class has a grant or thing like that so we can get the certification for free this year) :)
two more thirds to go...
