Terry Jones is now in jail for defying a court order denying him the right to protest next to a muslim center. :D
I understand he's a prick, but I kinda need context to know how much the first amendment applies here.

No no, bulletstorm is right UNDER Touhou.

My ideal fictional world is obviously if the worlds of Erinn and Gensyoko combined and everyone had guns and swore like sailors while killing people in spectacular ways with tons of bullets. Obviously.

Terry Jones is now in jail for defying a court order denying him the right to protest next to a muslim center. :D

The minute a court tells you "You can't do x" you lose your right to the first amendment to that one subject place or person.

It's not the speech, it's specifically defying a court order stating he was to stay away from the Muslim center in Dearborn for 3 years, and that his application for a protest permit was denied. He stated his intention to ignore the court order, so they arrested him in contempt of court.

I understand the concept of having a right suspended due to a hate crime, but I know there is a lot of drama over rights being suspended for people. I suppose I'm not standing up for the guy so much as not terribly understanding how prevalent that is and where it is limited.

And yeah, that clears that up.

It's like getting a restraining order. If what you're doing is causing undue stress or harm for another person, or making them feel threatened, or you're harassing them, you forfeit your right to interact with them, pretty much.

I just saw a magpie. Made me happy, because I haven't seen one all winter (and I'm fairly certain they don't migrate). They're totally and completely awesome, too. It looked like it was trying to tip one of the bird-feeders over, but a blackbird took offense and chased him away.

If the birddom was high school, blackbirds would dfinitely be the jocks.

Ah birds. Watching them is like watching fish jitter in between the struts of a coral reef, while clouds lazily float over head on the windy tide that carries them, and the grass bends like seaweed to the waves.

Hmm, poetic mood much? If only I were any good at poetry.  :P

I have a poetic mind, but alas, I cannot convey it well.

Also, going though Vocaloid again. So awesomely mind blowing.
