Just makes me happy when I play them. And I don't think I have dated her long enough for what you are implying there ;)

Finished reading the LP for Eternal Filena on the LP archive. I would be amazed that Nintendo was able to get away with stuff like that, but I'm planning on doing a Lets Play on the fan translation of Tales of Phantasia. I kinda get the feeling why these were never released outside of Japan.

Thank you The Cars

Oh my God, how old are you?  If you're my age, you're still way too young for that.

Okay, Living In Stereo is a great song, but I'd be pressed to see that being a GF thing.
Heh, reminds me of this xkcd comic
http://imgs.xkcd.com/comics/classic.png

There's something to be said for older songs... Personally I'm quite fond of Bach. ;)
I'm probably far too young to know classical music.

But of course EVERYONE has heard snippets of the big ones. I've found it interesting how it's always broken down into snippets, also how different parts of them tend to feel very disjointed. Probably because we're not used to listening to it like they used to.
It's also interesting for me how books seem to have been longer in the old days too. Probably for the same reason (that they wanted longer entertainment).

The governor of Texas has declared it is time to bring out the big guns against the drought: rain dances! Well, their more boring counterparts anyway.

Latest comic of Dresden Codak finally made me smile.

Normally I'm kinda harsh on this comic for how creative the artist tends to be in the panel format. I love the art, character and environmental design, neutral on the overall story, but the flow of the comic was always kinda terrible and distracted from the good points. I'm digging the current situation though.

I'm so confused.  I don't know whether to laugh, cry, or scream.

The bullying thread, plus typing my entire post made me feel better. I know bullying is bad, but at least I'm not alone it just how bad things got. Remembering what I've been through, and the fact that I didn't take the easy way out (suicide) the countless tendencies I had during that time, makes me feel like a true survivor as an adult.

Yeah, that thread was a good idea.  I've never had an opportunity to discuss it with people who have been through it on the same level (or worse) as I have.
