You simply must give me any sort of quote from the book that has Darth Vader killing zombies.

It probably doesn't have 40k Space Marines, but you could say that storm troopers are, in fact, space marines.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

And sorry Cow, but this book fucking rocks, end of story. Can't wait to read it.

What if the book was just TERRIBLE?

1) not possible
2) full length poster
3) zombies on a star destroyer
4) not possible

Indeed.

Space Marines have been used and abused as much as Regenerating Health and A Cover Shield has

If an experimental, new game comes out and completely blows, I'll at least give them some credit for not continuing trends that were...alright...to start out with

I know, I'm ranting on a different topic for my own amusement. Are space marines being overused in literature too?

In terms of books, I'd complain if there are vampires with overactive endocrine systems.

Believe it or not, but you can't overuse a term that's attributed so much literary badassery.

In other words, read a fucking book I guess.

No.

Whats overused in literature is people doing stuff or looking at stuff out of context at the begining of stories.

like "Stan slowly rubbed his hands on his cheeks, Samantha was going to be furious!"

Its like what the hell does that even mean?

If Stan slowly rubbed his hands on his cheeks, I'd be furious too.

I've actually done the whole "nervous face rubbing" before, as astonishing and outlandish as that may seem.

It feels nice.

Books should start more like: "A man rubs his cheeks in his bedroom. It just so happens that today, the 17th of November, the man was fired. Though it was thirteen hours ago he lost the job, it is only now that his girl, Samantha, heard of it!

She is going to be furious?"
