So, right or wrong, pick a different position and fight for it.  Diversify our concept of what is real through adding to the available narratives.  There is no truth.  Seek it lovingly."

This makes me happy, if only because it agrees with my own perspective and seeing it put forth far more eloquently than I've ever managed is nice for my ego.

In the days when Sussman was a novice, Minsky once came to him as he sat hacking at the PDP-6.
“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

Was able to get some things off my chest otday, using PMs.
What I really needed was a shoulder to cry on, but this will do for now.

I'm grateful, that there are still people out there, willing to listen.

Listening to Showtime (one of the fight themes from Homestuck) on repeat and enjoying a glass of Baileys with ice.

Not bad, evening. Not bad at all. I even got my army list finished before the Baileys occurred!

So you're no master debater? :P
Seems Vector is. And a cunning linguist, from what I've heard.

Also, these made me smile =)

That was a pretty fun shogi game.  Thanks, ToonyMan.

I guess we've now both experienced the full power of dropping pawns directly in front of key enemy pieces.

Schneizel was a pompous windbag, capable of winning games of chess despite not knowing the rules.

I GM'ed an entire RP game session while listening to "Hey There Cthulhu." And the session even included an evil Cthulhu plushie which knocked everybody out and stole their keys.
