Listening to the B52s. Remembered why I listened to nothing else for a while.

Somehow, today has been a really good day thus far.  Off to do histmath and rhetoric homework until 5 or 6, and then abstract algebra until bedtime <3

While flooding trashes huge swaths of developed land, spiders set aside their differences to make alien-looking webtrees, and massacre the booming mosquito population. Yes nature, we know you can be huge friggin' badasses. Stop rubbing it in our faces.

For some reason, today just feels like the greatest day I have ever know, if I had to wrestle a bear, I would want to do it today!

In the days when Sussman was a novice, Minsky once came to him as he sat hacking at the PDP-6.
“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

Awesome. :) I love chickens and if you raise them from chicks they can be friendlier then a kitten.

Also Slaughtering peasants never looked so fun
