I just thought of an awesome name for a metal band, and it makes me happy.

I handed in the mountain of work due in today and most of my exams are now behind me.

On the other hand...

I'm happy about Dwarf Fortress finally, holycrap, actually moving out of the Underground Stuff stage and approaching something called completion.  Mainly because it gives me a good excuse to start a Community Fortress.  A very special one, that I hope people will like.

This, and also two things I heard on the radio today: afternoon ska on the NC State station, and the news that the US will probably lift its haggis ban, meaning I'll finally get to try it.  Unfortunately that reminded me how much I miss black pudding.

...haggis ban?

Yahtzee introduced me to Flashback and I am now replaying it having beat it yesterday. I love this game.

However, fucking Morphs.

Yahtzee's writing a book you know. I'm not sure what it's going to be about, but I'm looking forward to it nonetheless.

It's about a necromancers apprentice being brought back to life and he's desperately trying to be dead again. Also it's set in an MMORPG where the NPCs don't know that and view the PCs with suspicion.

Also, in Flashback, you can recharge your shield. I did not know this the first time round. Am I an idiot? Yes, but apparently only on Mondays.

Amen to that. Check out my playthrough on my procaster on-demand (links are in OP). I had to raegquit, and play some pod racer to cool off somewhere in the video. It turned into 2 videos due to that, I think.

Oh, and I just made the Bloodifst project a hell of alot easier now. Security is in progress of being developed to impassible for any intruders, pathfinding has been fixed so I no longer have suicidal dwarves, I'm cleaning out a bat cave before securing it, and I have plans to make my ship go up rapidly.

Funny enough, adding an underground statue garden with some water around it (and an opening above to prevent adaptation) made it grow grass, so now Statue Garden will be more literal. :)

I think the construction site will finally look more presentable as an airship depot by the time I finish building the ship as well.

So yeah, had a talk with my sister about the breaking of her engagement two years ago. Really answered some questions I had about the event. She also helped me a bit with dealing with our parents.

I would bet money Andrew has edited things retroactively, except I can't prove anything because it was edited retroactively.

I have no idea what that means.

It'll be a totally random occurrence dictated by the amount presented on the dice, between 2 and 12?
