So I have a cunning plan...

When browsing around messing with stuff, I noticed the calendar button... When looking at the calendar I noticed it showed forumite birthdays... When looking at the birthdays I noticed Toady One's birthday is on the 17th.

So then I thought about encouraging people to give Toady a gift, but it'd be more fun if the gift were all sekrety like, but if I post a thread out in the open It'd be immediately discovered by Toady. BUT if people started sorting something out in the all enveloping folds of the happy thread, we could sort something out with a reasonable chance of not being discovered.

Unless your thread is reported, I am pretty sure Toady would not notice if you put "Don't look here Toady" in big flashing letters as the thread name.

That is amazing.

So is this: :ƒ (mood: mathematical)

I watched Easy A with my parents.  It was actually pretty good!  Along with 50 First Dates, it's probably the only romantic comedy I've seen that I really found funny.  Hmm... okay, Pumpkin was also really good >_>

Though to be honest, having seen it, I do feel kind of like I spent the past hour and a half eating Turkish Delights.

Managed to cook food that wasn't burned crap and was actually palatable.

Feel pretty confident that I'll be able to feed myself on stuff that isn't canned/instant noodles/simple as heck.

Is it just me or do people overreact to mildly wierd stuff around here a lot?
Or am I just that meh about most things that it doesn't affect me?

I'm happy because I have a huge list of Anime I need to watch.

I'm just as hardened. Hell, I can stroll through the High Octane Nightmare Fuel trope page(s), and walk out like I watched a horror movie made in the age of good horror movies (mind benders, not gorefests; Twilight Zone, not Saw (#)). Entertained, but not having nightmares anytime soon.

Hell, my dreams hold alien geometries sometimes, and I can navigate them no problem (Hazard-like for example). Then again, I like Escheresque landscapes with a touch of Wonderland, and a bit of my own imagination (The infrastructure is something else). For as insane things get in my head, it's oddly under control, and well structured. I need to do some art again. I've been thinking some pretty nifty things again (with the help of some recent threads/projects I've come across lately).
