Been drinking a bit, thankfully still have the presence of mind to stay out of of the religious threads.  Although making a post like this is probably not the best idea either.  Or is it?  *glug* *glug*

Get yari cavalry in first province.
Starve enemies out to always fight on the field.
 Yari charge of doom.

I'm having fun with World of Tanks. But early game is hard.

I'm happy today because I managed to, via elementary observations, rediscover a critical piece of thought that revolutionized the field of rhetoric when I was reading Nietzsche at the beginning of the semester, and which we are now learning about.

Hurmph.  At the very least, I may be useful to someone, someday.

Ooooo.

Please elaborate. Even though rhetoric is not really my thing so it'll probably be over my head.

I don't think that Utility is the mark of a life well-lived... still, it's a comforting thing to be part of a whole.

Having concrete evidence that you can think for yourself, and create things that others find valuable, feels good. Even in beating an old trail for yourself, you find yourself in the distinguished company of those who've wandered similar paths before.

Just afford yourself time to grow, and you'll keep on being pleasantly surprised.

Oh, just the idea that by arguing within a structure, against the structure, you get nowhere.  You end up reinforcing the structure by denouncing it.  I remember sitting there, reading Nietzsche's paper, and going "... Wait, what the hell does this guy think he's doing?  How the heck is this supposed to be him creating truth, when he just said that language is inherently mendacious?"

Apparently it was pretty big when Foucault came up with it >_>

EDIT: It may not have been the exact idea, but it was close enough that I'm saying "it counts" and calling it a night :I

That [Magma] is a bit deep down there, don't you think?
You really aren't thinking like a dwarf.

If you think it is down too far, you move it up until it reaches an acceptable elevation.

On Truth and Lies in an Extramoral Sense.  My idea is in Foucault's History of Sexuality and a bunch of stuff by Derrida.
