Addressing the merchant of menace as mom isn't a pun?

That's not a pun.  Things that aren't puns would also be banned.

Haikus?

Haikus would be banned.  English Haiku is easy poetry for babies.

I'll just take this to its logical conclusion.  Everything would be banned.  All of it.

Only if you promise to first ban yourself.

What's this?  A Livestream?

I'll be showing Notre-Dame de Paris soonish.  Thing is going to go live now, then actually run in 15 minutes.

Trigger Warning: Attempted (but not shown, or violent) rape.

Actually the female version of sir is mum mom *g*

How does that work? Cause the male version of mom is dad.
"Sir" is derived from "sire", which is a term for the male parent.

I wish I were king of the internet.  I think one of my decrees would be making it against the internet law to use "sir/madam" as an oblique way of asking a user's gender.
I sometimes call JoshuaFH Sir Josh and I don't even remember why.  I think it was because he beat Nethack, but I have the change that rule because Sir Cthulhu isn't right.

You don't get either. You refuse to make separate accounts for the male and female, and as a result, can only be referred to as a dehumanizing "it".

Naw man, it's only when you say the phrase "sir/madam" and you're obviously trying ot get them to tell their gender and no one's falling for it.
