Christ! What are you even using? An overclocked dual quad-core PC? Something like that should've toasted your OS before it toasted the adware.

Errr... You guys do know that if you have more than one virus scanner, there is a chance that they may conflict, making them useless?

Good lord, it's not like I was scanning with all of them simultaneously.  They aren't set up to background scan or anything, just to go one at a time and tell me how to kill my adware.

I'll probably go uninstall them now, but at least I know where to find the suckers next time I have a problem.

I was under the impression there was another happy thread before this one... but I might be wrong, I'm not sure how to find a duplicate thread that's buried 25+ pages back without extensive searching.

As far as I remember. My topic was the first thread like this. But... I'm not really sure about it since I'm going through some memory issues right now. But I'm pretty sure it was the first "things that made you" thread here. Though someone might of made one first...

Now that I think of it I think someone made a rage thread as a joke.

I know there have been a few different "replacement" happy threads when this one was closed or whatever.  I think there were two different sad threads, and certainly there was an original RAGE thread that was closed for being too argument inducing.  And several other "stuff" threads.  This is the oldest "happy" thread that I can remember.
