Friend's netbook: Touhou (8, at least, I haven't tried any others yet) runs at 20 fps.
Just slow enough to make death nigh impossible without being so slow you can't play it at all.

I never cheat to win.  I do sometimes cheat to mess around with (comon, don't tell me it isn't fun to activate Chaos Mode, Infinite Rocket Ammo and so on at the end of a game).

Here's the thing... I can't enjoy it if I know it's something I can't do normally. Ill sometimes cheat for VERY VERY minor things. Like making slight modifications of items to give myself because they look better. But I can't say... Give myself a new gun five seconds out of the tutorial and enjoy myself. Since Ill feel like a cheat.

I DID however. Use them when I can to make games HARDER. THAT is more fun.
