Having dug out a more permanent shelter, topped with a roof of wooden planks, I now feel fully capable of surviving the night.
Of course, I can hear them much more clearly now, as they step upon the planks, the sound echoes throughout my small chamber.
I have, however, killed one of the monstrosities, a giant spider, as it fell through a small hole I left to allow myself exit.
The hole is now boarded up, and I await the end of my second night in this strange land.
