Borderlands continues to impress.  I was persuaded to play the Berserker.  I had already killed the same devildog boss I already had my toreador-esque fight with before, and mopped the floor with him by beating him to death.

I saw some enemies stuck behind a rock wall.  After wasting some rifle fire on them, I decided, "Screw it, how tough can they be?" and leaped over.  Fight into the teeth of a whole mob of tough dudes, including a devildog breed I'd never seen before who was way out of my league.  Thus ensued a melee of shotgunnery, beatings of asses, being chew on, and throwing cluster-bombs at my feet.  I emerged sans some ammo and at 10% health, victorious.

I know it's just a videogame, but I've played a lot of videogames over quite a bit of time.  I've never before literally fired into the air in celebration.

Is there a difference in translation, or are you saying it differently?


Also, I just successfully transferred my cousin's single player game into a Tcp/Ip server map.
If all works as planned, I can maybe transfer it into an online map later on.

I figured "devildog" would be a bit more informative for the many people who have never played the game, to better understand my enjoyment.

In other news, DFW is iced in solid.  Tonight might be the first time since I started that my job actually closes due to dangerously bad weather.
