ok then moving on then. so i did some metal testing yesterday by comparing longevity from shock and terminal damage from bullets. so far, leather-backed 1 inch thick ES-1 steel plates lasts the longest from 7 NATO 7.62x51mm rounds in a small area. i will test them with ceramic overplating to experiment energy absorption next.

It's a great game.  They're working out lots of issues yet, but it's still tons of fun.
