As for the digestion, you can staple the esophagus to the entrails, bypassing the stomach altogether and still allowing for digestion.

That seems like it might hurt going down.

Also seems like you can get infected by doing that.

It's an actual surgical procedure.
I forget whether there's a practical application or if it's just to help morbidly obese people lose weight.
If you're thinking of a gastric bypass, that leaves 10% of the stomach in the digestive tract. Taking it all out would be quite fatal.

This is incredible. It is the tale of an English teacher teaching middle school students in Japan, and it is rife with both hilarity and shocking tales. Truly an epic yarn worthy of an archive trawl.

It's usually because of stomach cancer.

I'm happy becouse I've finally found a religion I like and have joined it officially. I am now a member of the Holy Church of Narcissis, I worship myself and proclaim everything I do as divine action.

You can only get away with that because of that awesome hair of yours.

Fun Fact: In RL my hair is incredibly awesome, It goes down to the small of my back, roughly, and it has been said many times that 'women would kill for your hair'. It stays nice and straight and soft etc. without needing to do more than normal shampoo-conditioner. I like my hair  :D

Fun fact: Tea tree shampoo is mighty awesome, and makes your hair feel and smell awesome, as well as just look the part.

The Culture of Ainu.
For Japanese, our next project is teaching the other language classes traditional dance.
Me and my partner are doing Ainu.
She said 'yeah, pick whatever, just not Okinawan.'
So I picked the dance of the guys with great beards.
And now I'm learning about them.

I'll let these guys show you the state of the modern Ainu.
They demonstrate the seamless fusion of cultures pretty well.

The strings I wanted were discontinued, and, just when it was beginning to look like I'd never get hot pink strings, I found that the same brand makes glowy ones, available in pink and other colours.
They gloooooooow!

Huh. That's pretty cool. I, for one, would be interested in seeing pictures.

Same, I had my eye on a pair of red glowy ones but they didn't make them fat enough. I play what I like to call super sonic bass, so low you feel your chest pulsate and it helps to have thick strings.
