So what if you're a programmer, and a gamer? Geek or nerd?
Depends, do you go for graphics, or gameplay?
...Well this is the DF forum.
Actually it was a bit of a trick question. (and good response BTW.)

Graphics exclusively makes you a dweeb. Intricacies (fine inane details) makes you a dork, The harmony of elements (graphics, gameplay, detail; all around), or simply, enjoying a good game, makes you a geek. Modifying the game in any way (hacking, modding, editing raws), also to add challenges or interesting elements makes you a nerd.

See where I'm getting at here? Take it as a complement to the whole forum. Considering we (overall) lack the awkwardness of all 3, and can easily spot dweebs, we're fucking geniuses. ;D

Compliment especially towards Toady One for applying it to legendary levels with DF overall.

I have no idea what that was, BUT IT WAS AWESOME.

I just spent a good 3 hours playing Princess Waltz, and i got to part two.

Christ this is a long game...

I tried a game recommended to me called "Elona Shooter" and it's pretty good, if insanely hard.

I'm going on vacation tomorrow! (I mean vacation-vacation, not Christmas Break vacation).

Yay! :D

Yeah, he's a banned spammer. Normally we'd delete this thread too, but people were having too much fun with it by the time we got here.

It's a really big island. ;D

Well, we're going on a road trip to my friend's rest house in Tagaytay. Gonna stay there for a few days. (The guys are probably gonna drink themselves silly ::) )

I live on an island!

And like most of the people here try to escape it during the vacation periods.

Although this time I'm actually just visiting my grandparents.

If you think about it a bit, Josh, we all live on islands. ;)

Which somehow reminds me of that question someone sent into the New Scientist:
Quote
What sea level would result in the largest amount of coastline worldwide?
To which the answer was a resounding "We have absolutely no idea".
