It's not like there aren't times when I want to be an asshole, or when I lapse, but yeah, it's useful in that I haven't really fought with anyone in like 3 years and hey, I'm popular, but it depends on the person, I suppose. If you enjoy being an asshole and human contact means nothing to you, or if you just enjoy being an asshole in moderation, then being nice constantly probably isn't for you.

I usually get in a big fight at least once a month, and have large disagreements every week or so.  Sometimes multiple times a day.


It's not so much that I enjoy being an asshole.  It's that I realized keeping my temper more in crucial situations would a. make me feel less like a 3-year-old and b. probably save me a lot of time in the long run.  I guess it's not so much "being an ass" as "curbing my abrasiveness," as I think the latter is a lesser form of the former.

You see it as being an asshole. I see it as you being an artist who was stricken by inspiration, going through with their art even without regard to others feelings, but still making a work art in the end.
