I was recycling my old hard drive.  Serves me right, it's dying as we speak.  Audio software keeps uninstalling itself and then sneaking back in when I restart, sometimes programs don't want to start, etc.

I had a dream last night that I was about to go to bed and I knew beforehand that several people were going to attack me when I woke up, hoping to kill me and usurp my role as leader of the tribe (I don't know what tribe).  I went to bed with strength and dexterity pills in my pocket which I would take while stalling and then wreck their shit.  Never happened, instead I stumbled upon a group of people watching a horror TV-program/radio show.  The TV part had a discussion on particle accelerators located in remote areas of the country, and how the wild energies produced had a detrimental effect on anyone walking around on the surface, like making you explode.  The radio part had a story where an Italian family in the 20s or 30s was driving around during a storm.  The ambiance was really creepy, with lots of foreboding music and stuff, and the daughter kept complaining about how she was hungry.  The wife was telling her they couldn't stop right now, and then the car crashed into a wall.

The scary part?  The driver was dead the whole time

Re RAM: I have 3 gigs of RAM.  1gig is the two half-sticks that came stock in the Pressario, 1gig is from a stick my friend gave me, and 1gig I stole from WalMart (with same friend's assistance) back when they still kept RAM on open shelves.

Re Dreams, from this morning: I don't remember the whole story, but I was trying to track down a man who had done me wrong.  I got to his stony mansion in the mountains; he had split the scene, leaving his goons to take care of me.  Just me, the snow, a castle, a fucking six-shooter, and dozens of men in suits trying to kill me.  After a while, my aim started faltering; I made up for it with crazy trick shots, like shooting the wooden doorframe a guy was hiding behind, filling his eyes with splinters.  I found a second revolver, but I ditched it because I couldn't speed load with a gun in each hand.  I had to make my escape through a very jumping-puzzle-esque path over the snowy rooftops, since there were just too many guys and I was wasting time.

Right about when I realized what an awesome videogame this was, I knew I was asleep and that woke me up.  Still bitchin'.

Should have gone with the 64-bit XP.

64-bit XP is the most worthless piece of crap port I have ever seen.
If you have 4 GB of RAM, you are better off on regular 32-bit XP.  Or you could go 64-bit Windows 7.
I wouldn't touch 64-bit XP with a ten foot pole.
Because I don't have a ten foot pole.  But that's beside the point.

Finally got phone to work with my memory card, apparently only can take 2GB cards not the 4GB that they sold me with the phone
